Bangkok Post

Bangkok Post Leading Thailand Newspaper In English

Leading Thailand daily newspaper in English, as of 2017 it is heavily censored and must comply with terms set by the ruling Thai military junta…

The Nation

The Nation Thailand English Daily

The only other competing English daily that has both Thailand and international news…

There other English local news resources in Pattaya – Phuket – Chiang Mai and more, but their coverage is not based on national and international news. The other constraint from mentioning these newspapers is because of the draconian laws of the Thai military junta, some of which are so rigid that they have an ongoing case in progress challenging Jonathan Head of the BBC. This is one of many and is likely to last for years as the Thailand Judiciary is gridlocked – continuously pressurized by the Thai military junta to the degree it is almost impotent. However any decision it makes will have to be approved and signed off in line with laws laid down by the meddling dictators.
