Today in the Sunday Telegraph the cycling doubter journalists come out to play making observations that they are of the opinion that emerging super star professional cyclist Chris Froome of Team Sky does not have the tactical nous to win the 2013 Tour de France.
Well I have news for Team Sky if you had not offloaded Sean Yates – Steven de Jongh – Michael Barry – Bobby Julich and team doctor Geert Leinders in the wake of the Lance Armstrong doping scandal. Overnight Team Sky boss Dave Brailsford has dismantled the key men behind the great season Team Sky enjoyed in 2012 when they won over 50 races and ascended into the record books for ever when Bradley Wiggins resplendent in yellow won the 2012 Tour de France. Quite simply a fantastic sporting achievement and moreover the first winner ever for the UK – United Kingdom.
Now guess what as Team Sky makes preparations for the new professional cycling racing season in 2013 with no back up and support staff that can assist Chris Froome in the said referenced tactics that he supposedly has missing and that are essential if he is to win the 2013 Tour de France.
As for Chris Froome and any ambitions he has of ever winning the Tour de France – one has to ask whether that can be achieved as long as he is a member of the crumbling Team Sky.
Is Chris Froome Tactically Astute Enough to Win the 2013 Tour de France…
